Efficient Design, Construction and Maintenance of Long Span Bridge Projects

Asia’s biggest conference on sustainable bridge infrastructure developments is back. After three hugely successful editions, the 4th Annual Bridges Asia 2013 will bring together regional stakeholders to focus on unique aspects of bridge design, engineering and maintenance. With a refreshingly new format, this conference will feature highly interactive sessions, less power points and bride the speaker delegate fraternity. With 90% of the information available in conferences these days readily present online, this conference will unlock the 10% of the crucial information associated with bridge engineering that cannot be found anywhere else.

This is your ticket to move away from a boring “more presentation less interaction” format. To build a perfect bridge between the speaker and delegate fraternity, on stage speaker interviews with the chairman will be your opportunity to figure out the underlying truth in bridge engineering. With ‘brutal honesty’ as the mantra, these interviews will demystify 10% of that information that was previously deemed ‘inaccessible’.

Power Panel Discussions

Power panels will bring together 3 – 4 senior level experts from AECs and EPCs for a “live debate”. Facilitated by the Chairman, these power panels will again foster a constructive discussion and ensure no stone is left unturned.

For the First Time Ever!!

An Exclusive Site Visit to the Construction Site of the Hong Kong ZHUHAI MACAU BRIDGE (HZMB) Project
(Hong Kong Link Road and Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities)

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

With rapid urbanisation and sustained economic growth, a surge in investment into large infrastructure projects in Asia comes as no surprise.

As demands of infrastructure projects keep growing, we are also faced with a bunch of new design and engineering challenges with bridges becoming longer, wider and complex; not to mention the surprises that maintenance of existing bridge stock can throw at us.

Hence, there is a definite need to equip ourselves by keeping pace with best practices in sustainable design, engineering, construction and maintenance of bridge infrastructure.

I believe that 4th Annual Bridges Asia 2013 provides a unique opportunity to achieve all this and more. I have been a part of this conference for the last three years and I must admit that it has been a memorable experience each year.

Join me in Hong Kong to hear bridge experts from world renowned AECs, EPCs, asset owners, financiers share the latest trends in bridge projects – design, construction and maintenance.

I am sure it will be a great platform to meet and interact with all relevant stakeholders in the long span bridge industry.

I look forward to seeing you at Bridges Asia 2013.

Regards
